very good Bible study for a small group
We do things that become routine, but it's the wrong thing for us to do. We have to then reflect on what is keeping us from God and do the things that we are called to do for the Kingdom of Christ.

Seven Stupid Things is so easy to read, and that was surprising because thought-provoking books aren’t usually so entertaining. I think this book can relate to a lot of people as it related to me and on top of that, this book is very well-written. The most important lesson I learned while reading this is to not ignore God’s warnings and your own conscience.
While I am not a person of faith, I did find this book to be highly topical. This is a well written book, albeit from the perspective of an obviously humble person. What the book does have is a high level of great advice for life - specifically what to avoid to in order to have a fulfilled life.
Pastor Beau stretches me on a weekly basis in my walk with Christ. So I wasn't surprised when his book did he same. He masterfully weaves God's Word with humorous stories and relatable anecdotes. This approach to Proverbs is such a great way to dig deeper. I've done the stupid things in many different ways. This book helps me understand God's plan as we listen to the wisdom of Solomon. It's like sitting with Pastor Beau as he tells stories and teaches so much along the way. Great read. Looking forward to really getting into it with my small group and sharing what we learn.
