15 months. It took 15 months for Lacy and Dane to be in the same physical space again. It took Max and Treat's wedding to finally make it happen. The attraction was immediate and likely obvious to everyone around them. While the attraction was undeniable, what was it that kept them apart for so long? Work? Promotions? The Brave Foundation mission of helping sharks?

Lacy, is afraid of sharks due to an experience from her childhood. Dane isn't sure, at first, what he is afraid of, but why didn't he go to Lacy during those 15 months? How these two be able to overcome their fears? Or will they?

When they are together, the passion is undeniable. But, how do they get past their hangups in order to be together? Does love conquer all?

I thoroughly enjoyed following Lacy and Dane on their journey. I laughed and cried for them, and continued to hold out hope that they would pull together in the end.
This is the 6th audio book I have listen to by these two amazing people. Melissa writes it and BJ reads it and together they have gold! Not only have I loved all of Melissas books I'm now loving the Audio version more. BJ just has a voice that pulls you in. I love when he talks as Hal, that slow southern drawl... his reading as Lacy and Dane is just perfect. Each book he narrates you can tell it's him, but he changes it up a little when new characters come about and he keeps true to the ones from previous books. Melissa I truly believe you picked a fantastic guy to narrate your stories. I hope he continues to be the one to narrate them. Lucy and Dane are perfect for each other, I just love how they try to go apart but just can't, you have made it to difficult for me to pick a favorite, in going to just have to say every single thing you have written is my favorite.
Thank you both for giving me something to get lost in, I have truly enjoyed every second of Sea of Love and I look forward to more on this Braden clan. A very happy reader/listener.
Anyone reading my review, just know you will love this one too. Melissa Fosters books speak for themselves and then add BJ Harrison's voice and it's perfection (in my opinion), but once you have finished I don't think you will disagree. So happy listening!!!!
I love all of the Westen Braden stories but there is something about Dane and Lacy's story that pulled at my heart strings. Lacy is very afraid of sharks and Dane is a shark tagger and owner of The Brave Foundation. They met while at her sisters and his cousins wedding in the Bahamas. They have been talking for months via e-mail, text, and skype. They finally meet again at Dane's brother Treats wedding in Wellfleet. Sparks really fly with they meet up and they decide that they can not go months without seeing each other again.

Dane decides to immerse Lacy in all things sharks to help her get over/deal with her fear of sharks. He loves her soo much that he does not want to loose her because she feels her fear of sharks will keep them apart. The narrator does a great job showing you the emotion of the characters. You feel like you are right there in the story. Dane has soo much love for Lacy and the narrator really brings it out. Lacy has such a fear of sharks and worry about whether or not a relationship with a shark tagger could work. The narrator does a great job and you feel how real Lacy's fears and worry are. I felt like I was right there on the boat and had the same worry's as Lacy and the same love as Dane. I love Shark Week so this book was perfect for me.
Sea of Love is the seventh book in the Love in Bloom series, and the fourth installment of the Bradens. If you have read the other books in this series, you might recall Lacy (Danica and Kaylie's sister) and Dane (one of the Braden brothers). Don't worry though if you haven't read any of these books. Sea of Love can be read as a stand alone book. I love this series, and recommend that you read all of the books.

Melissa Foster has done it again with Sea of Love. She has written another book that speaks to the heart. She will have you on an emotional rollercoaster. Her characters just seem to come alive on the page. I don't know what it is about her writing but every book that I've read seems to speak to me. There always seems to be some life lesson for me. It may just be a way for me to handle things differently, or a different perspective. I've gone through similar life experiences as some of the characters, and this book like her other books lets me see things from both sides.

You will fall in love with Lacy and Dane. Lacy actually reminds me of my step sister. I've never really been close to her. I've always seen her as part of the other family. This story helped me see things from her perspective and realize that she probably has trust issues, too.

The setting is wonderful and the best thing is that you will be able to picture everything in your mind. It will seem like you are really there.

This book is a perfect fit for the series. I give this book 5 stars. I'm sure this book will speak to everyone on some level. However you must be aware that there are sexually explicit scenes in this book, and it is not appropriate for all ages.
