The very lovely Japanese Views portfolio of note cards showcases four Japanese woodcut images by the great Utagawa Hiroshige. All the originals were gifts from James A. Michener to the Honolulu Academy of Art. It's hard to choose a favorite among these views The cover image of Mt. Fuji in the spring, Koshigaya in Musashi Province and The Otsuki Plain in Kai Province, both colored woodblock prints from Thirty-six Views of Mt. Fuji, 1858; Grounds of the Kameido Tenjin Shrine and with cherry blossoms in the foreground and boats on a large lake, Massaki Viewed from Suijin Woods on the East Bank of the Sumida River, both color woodblock prints form One Hundred Famous Views of Edo, 1856.

The prints on these blank cards are more lovely than I'd hoped. They give the feeling of serenity. They are on small side for art blanks, perfect if you don't have much to say. The card stock is light. Very happy with these cards.
We send them to our patients and receive so many compliments on them. Many have commented that they have even framed them. I buy them again and again.
I'm quite impressed with these cards. Paper quality and color are very good. Envelopes a good quality paper as well. I'll be happy to send these because they'll bring recipients pleasure.
These are beautiful cards.Having them in a portfolio is nice if you take cards with you when you travel. We write a lot of cards, so are always looking for something different. And - surprise! - these worked very well with the cherry blossoms U.S. Stamp out this year (2018)
I bought these cards as a gift for my sister and she loved them! She immediately wanted to know where I found them - they're that nice. The quality of the paper and color saturation are fantastic! These are not your standard card shop cards. They're nicely sized as well - not too big and not too small. Perfect for a quick note to someone or a thank you. I would highly recommend them.
These are high quality notecards and come in a little portfolio-type container. There are four different, beautiful scenes in this collection and all are elegant in their simplicity. I couldn't be happier!!!
Beautiful cards nice quality. The recipients of these cards really enjoyed them. They don't show you but there is 4 different cards and they are all very, very pretty. They come in a cardboard book like container. Pretty but be careful pulling out envelopes I already ripped one. Fold all the way back on itself.
